How We See Self-Directed Education

The Alliance for Self-Directed Education has released its first video aimed at the general public: How We See Self-Directed Education.

I think it is a good outline of the directions we want to grow and support (I'm an organizer of ASDE) and I welcome any comments or suggestions about the video and how we can sharpen our message to reach more people.

The concept of self-directed education is boldly stated in several places in the video, such as: "Informal or spontaneous learning is often far more effective than formal learning." If you agree with this position, please share this video with your friends and let us know your thoughts.
